Happyness is 16 years old and was educated up to primary school due to lack of funds. She worked at a farm in her village for a few years after which she decided to move to Arusha with her older sister.

While in Arusha, she started attending a women’s empowerment project where she could learn to sew in the hope that she could use this skill to get gainful employment in the future. This is where EOG came in contact with her. She shared her story with us and her dream to continue school, but things just never seemed to work out.

Happyness is currently enrolled in a 1 year English course program, after which she will move on to a condensed O level program. She would like to become a nurse and this time, things will work out.
