Why mentorship is important
When quality education is accompanied by mentorhsip, students benefit immensely. Mentees are able to learn from the knowledge and experience of their mentors, which they can apply as life lessons. Mentors are also able point out areas for development as well as be a support system to provide the students with encouragement.
Want to be a mentor?
As we grow, we would also like to grow our pool of volunteers and mentors. As a mentor, you will be paired with one of our scholarship recipients. You will share information about your educational and career path, as well as provide guidance and motivation. You may also assist with exploring and setting goals for your mentee.
